Job summary

East Riding of Yorkshire Council's Hedon Nursery School in Hedon is inviting applications for a part-time Level 3 Nursery Nurse to join our dedicated team. This term-time role is 22.25 hours per week across Monday to Wednesday, supporting young children with a child-centred EYFS approach.

You will lead learning for a group of key children, plan and reflect on next steps, and build strong relationships with families.

Qualifications

• Experience or understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
• Ability to implement child-centered learning in early years
• Strong communication with families and teamwork with colleagues

Responsibilities

• Lead high-quality learning for a group of key children
• Plan, assess and reflect on children’s next steps
• Build strong, supportive relationships with families
• Help shape and maintain high-quality provision indoors and outdoors
• Contribute to planning meetings, CPD sessions and team discussions
• Participate in the collaborative learning culture across our partnership
• Engage in all aspects of school life, including outdoor learning
