Job summary

St Edmund’s Catholic Primary School in Godalming is inviting applications for Learning Support Assistants to support teaching and learning from September 2026. The role is 22.5 hours per week over 39 weeks per year, Monday to Friday 8.40am–13.10pm, with pro-rata annual salary of £13,514.00.

The position is suitable for someone looking to move into teaching or committed to supporting pupil progress. We seek self-motivated, enthusiastic candidates who can work well in a team and show initiative.

Qualifications

• Have English and Maths GCSEs (or evidence equivalent).
• Be self-motivated, enthusiastic and committed to getting the best outcomes for children.
• Have the ability to work as part of a team and also use initiative.

Responsibilities

• Support teaching and learning at St Edmund’s Catholic Primary School.
• Assist pupils with accessing learning and promote independence where possible.
