Role Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and qualified Maths Teacher to join our team on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Key Stage 3 (KS3) Maths remotely using video conferencing tools, ensuring that lessons are interactive, well-paced, and aligned with the National Curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver KS3 Maths lessons in accordance with the National Curriculum
  • Plan and prepare high-quality, engaging, and structured online lessons
  • Use a smart tablet and digital pen effectively for live teaching and demonstrations
  • Track student progress, provide feedback, and support individual learning needs
  • Maintain a professional and enthusiastic presence during video sessions
  • Communicate effectively with students and parents
  • Use MS Office tools to support lesson planning and reporting

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Proven experience teaching KS3 Maths
  • Experience teaching via online platforms or video conferencing tools
  • Own a smart tablet with digital pen, plus a reliable PC or laptop
  • Stable, high-speed internet connection
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students in a virtual learning environment
