Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Key Stage 1 Teacher to join a friendly and committed team on a part-time basis. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire young learners and contribute to a nurturing and engaging learning environment. Beginning September 2025.

Duties as a KS1 Teacher:
  1. Plan and deliver creative, differentiated lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum.
  2. Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development.
  3. Work effectively with colleagues, teaching assistants, and parents/carers.
  4. Assess and monitor pupil progress using formative and summative methods.
  5. Contribute to a positive classroom culture that promotes curiosity, resilience, and a love of learning.
Ideal KS1 Teacher:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • Experience teaching in Key Stage 1, with a strong grasp of phonics and early literacy/numeracy.
  • Warm, nurturing, and reflective approach to teaching.
  • Effective classroom and behaviour management skills as a KS1 Teacher.
  • Team player with strong communication skills and a commitment to the wider school community.
