Job summary

Colchester United FC is seeking a Part-Time Academy Coach to work with Junior Academy players aged 9 to 14, delivering high-level coaching aligned to the Academy Performance Plan at Colchester. This role focuses on development, matchday duties, and collaborative planning within the Junior Academy.

You will maintain accurate player records in Kitman Labs, support safeguarding responsibilities, and contribute to the multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Able to deliver high-level coaching for the 9s-14s age groups in line with the Academy Performance Plan.
• Organised and confident keeping accurate player records on Kitman Labs.
• Accountability and responsibility for safeguarding at all times.

The Role

You will develop players in the Junior Academy age groups (9s-14s), supporting continual individual player development and making sure the coaching programme follows the Academy Performance Plan.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-level coaching sessions for Junior Academy players
• Carry out matchday duties for Junior Academy fixtures
• Assist with Individual Learning Plans for Junior Academy players
• Contribute to the multidisciplinary team within the Junior Academy programme
• Contribute to the retain and release process
• Keep Kitman Labs and other player records up to date

About You
