Job description

We re recruiting on behalf of our client in High Wycombe for an experienced part-time HR Manager.

This role involves leading all aspects of HR, including strategy, compliance, and the full employee lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and a passion for creating a positive, inclusive workplace. This position will oversee a team of approximately 40 employees.

  • 20 hours per week, 4 to 5 days per week Monday to Friday.
  • GBP60,00 pro rata.
  • Office based.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR initiatives aligned with business goals.
  • Support hiring, from job postings to interviews and onboarding.
  • Handle concerns, conflicts, disciplinary actions, and grievances.
  • Identify needs and deliver employee training and growth programs.
  • Oversee reviews, feedback, and improvement plans.
  • Manage pay structures, benefits, and salary reviews.
  • Ensure adherence to employment laws and internal policies.
  • Maintain employee records and manage HR systems.
  • Promote a positive, inclusive, and engaging workplace culture.
  • Deliver regular HR reports and insights to senior leadership.
