Job description

Spencer-Richardson is pleased to partner with our client, a growing leisure business, in the search for their new Part Time HR Administrator.

This is a new position as the business continues its growth plan, and will be supporting the internal teams along with partnering with the external provider to ensure smooth HR Operations & Administration.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Be the first point of contact for HR related matters and queries for both management and employees.
  2. Ensure that contracts, records and confidential information is maintained accurately in the HRIS, and in line with GDPR.
  3. Support recruitment efforts, collaborating with hiring managers, creating compelling job adverts and scheduling interviews.
  4. Champion our company policies, ensuring that they are adhered to and make recommendations for improvement.
  5. Track and ensure that all training and development is up to date, schedule courses with a variety of providers and maintain accurate records.
  6. Support payroll processes when required.
  7. Identify any employee relations issues and escalate to the external provider and managers when needed.
  8. Advise on HR policies.
  9. Proactively engage with HR projects.
  10. Build and maintain a positive relationship with the external HR providers.
To Be Successful

  1. Demonstrable background in administration, preferably supporting an HR function or People team.
  2. Good understanding of HR policies and employment law.
  3. Natural team player and the ability to prioritise.
  4. Highly organised with excellent time management skills.
  5. Comfortable in a fast paced environment and able to use own initiative.
  6. Excellent diplomatic communication skills and a strong relationship builder.
  7. Strong understanding of GDPR and confidentiality.
  8. Skilled in Microsoft Office and bespoke software systems (HRIS).
  9. CIPD L3 or working towards highly desirable.

Salary circa £30k pro rata - to be calculated depending on agreed schedule.
