Essential Employment is seeking a Temporary Accommodation Advisor in Newport, Isle of Wight. This part‑time, temporary contract is 25 hours per week, office based 9am to 2pm, five days a week.

You will lead on providing enhanced housing services to residents in specialist temporary accommodation, working with individuals and families to prevent homelessness and support moves toward sustainable tenancies and permanent homes.

Responsibilities

• Provide information, advice and guidance to customers in temporary accommodation.
• Support customers towards maintaining a sustainable tenancy.
• Assist residents to move into a permanent home.
