Job description

We are looking for part-time Housekeeping Assistants to join our vibrant team at our Children’s Activity Centre, Condover Hall, located just on the outskirts of Shrewsbury. Condover Hall is an elegant Grade I listed, three-storey Elizabethan sandstone building, described as the grandest manor house in Shropshire, situated in a conservation area on the outskirts of Condover village.

This is a seasonal vacancy from now to 24th October 2025, with the option to return for the 2026 season.

The details:

• Salary up to £12.32 per hour
• Part-time hours, working on Fridays from 9am to 4.30pm
• Accommodation is not provided; you will need your own transport to reach Condover Hall due to its location

Day-to-day duties include:

• Cleaning guest accommodations, including bathrooms
• Preparing bedding before guest arrivals
• Cleaning communal areas within the manor and the swimming pool area
• Maintaining cleanliness and health & safety standards
• Stocking storerooms with linens, guest supplies, and cleaning equipment
• Assisting with decorating the centre for events
• Working in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment during busy guest arrival and departure days
