Job summary

The Headland Cornwall in Newquay is seeking a Housekeeping Assistant to join our luxury hospitality team. In this role you will help maintain our high standards of presentation across guest bedrooms, cottages, and front-of-house spaces, ensuring spaces are immaculate and inviting for every guest.

This part-time position offers 16 hours per week, from 9:30am to 2:30pm, with perks including on-site parking, gym access, weekly swim, staff meals, and spa privileges.

The Role

Are you detail-oriented, reliable, and passionate about creating a welcoming environment? We are looking for a dedicated Housekeeping Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining our luxury standards, ensuring our guest bedrooms, cottages, and beautiful front-of-house areas look immaculate and inviting.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Elevating the Space: Cleaning and servicing guest bedrooms, cottages, and public areas to maintain our exceptionally high standards of presentation.
• Behind-the-Scenes Care: Assisting the laundry department with cleaning, pressing, and folding linen, as well as keeping all areas well-stocked with essential supplies.
• Eco-Friendly Efficiency: Helping to strip beds, deliver fresh linen, and manage rubbish and recycling in line with our green, sustainable practices.
