Job description

A part-time, organised and capable Housekeeper is required for a beautiful family home near Hungerford. This is a Monday, Wednesday, and Friday role, with the 20 hours split preferably over three days. The role is start in May/June and salary is circa £20 gross an hour.
The family consists of 4 people – 2 adults and 2 young children (7 and 8) years, so it is a busy, noisy home with lots of organisation required! Both parents work from home.
Duties will include, but not limited to:-
Full housekeeping
Washing and ironing
Tidying all around the house, ensuring it is in continuous good order
Deep cleans of rooms/kitchen equipment/bathrooms etc. when time allows
Wardrobe management
Flower arranging
Clearing up after meals
Occasional light cooking for the family would be beneficial but not necessary
Organising and tidying cupboards/toys
Stripping beds and re making
The housekeeper must be child friendly and an animal lover
Ordering new household supplies/stock
Someone pro-active, kind and able to use initiative is essential

You will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the home while delivering excellent service to the family and their guests.
A good knowledge, or willingness to learn about, of cleaning products and how to care for furniture and surfaces with high-end finishes, as well as being proficient in all laundry care, are essential for this role.
An excellent eye for detail, friendly and approachable manner, and discretion are a must.
