Part-Time Housekeeper Job, Shaftesbury, Dorset

A client of Greycoat Lumleys is seeking a housekeeper to assist with the smooth running of their 5-bedroom farmhouse. The principals are informal but maintain high standards. They are looking for someone with great attention to detail who can manage their time efficiently. Other staff at the property include contractors and gardeners. The principals' children are grown and visit occasionally. There are currently no pets, although they may consider getting one in the future. This is an ideal role for someone looking for a position that can fit around school pick-up and drop-off times.

Duties will include:

• Cleaning, laundry, and ironing
• Running errands, such as shopping
• Ordering products and maintaining an inventory of stock

The ideal candidate will be friendly, honest, reliable, and able to think ahead. Please apply only if you have relevant experience in private households. A valid driver’s license and access to your own car are required.

Days: Flexible; ideally 4 or 5 days, with Monday, Wednesday, and Friday being preferred workdays.
Hours: 20-24 hours per week, with flexibility in discussing start and finish times.
Salary: £20 per hour (self-employed only)
Start Date: As soon as the right candidate is found
