Job summary

Admiralty Care Home in Gillingham is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain a clean, welcoming environment for residents and visitors. You’ll bring pride to everyday spaces and help create a home our residents love living in.

In this part-time role (20 hours per week), you’ll keep communal areas tidy, dust and vacuum residents’ rooms, and collaborate with the team to uphold excellent hygiene standards while spreading kindness throughout your day.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 12 months’ right to work in the UK
• A positive attitude and pride in your work
• This is a part time position at 20 hours per week to include alternative weekends
• Experience within a similar role

Responsibilities

• Creating a welcoming environment – keeping all communal areas clean, tidy, and safe for residents, visitors and colleagues
• Room care with pride – dusting, polishing and vacuuming residents’ rooms to a high standard, always using appropriate safety signage
• Working together – collaborating with the management team to maintain excellent hygiene and cleanliness standards
• Making a difference through kindness – sharing a smile, a conversation, or a moment of connection with residents as you go about your day
