Nurse Seekers Ltd. is recruiting a part-time Housekeeper for a Luxury Retirement Home in Kilgetty, Pembrokeshire. You will maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment for residents, visitors and staff, within a supportive team.

The role focuses on high standards of cleanliness and attention to detail, with training provided where needed. Local applicants are preferred, with DBS and full training offered.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is desirable (training can be provided).
• Genuine interest in working with older people.
• Good communication skills.
• High standards of cleanliness and attention to detail.
• Ability to work well within a team.
• Reliable, organised and proactive approach.
• Caring, friendly and respectful attitude.
• Ability to work independently and manage daily cleaning tasks effectively.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high cleanliness standards throughout the residential home.
• Clean residents' rooms, communal areas, bathrooms and corridors.
• Follow daily and weekly cleaning schedules.
• Ensure cleaning is carried out safely and in line with hygiene procedures.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming environment for residents.
• Replenish cleaning and household supplies as required.
• Report maintenance issues, damage or health and safety concerns promptly.
• Follow infection control and health & safety procedures.
• Work closely with care staff to meet residents' needs.
