Job summary

Join Ty Grosvenor as a Part Time Housekeeper with Elysium Healthcare. You’ll work 15 hours a week, cleaning wards, offices and living areas, while upholding safety and high cleanliness standards in a service for adults with complex needs.

You’ll be part of a dedicated housekeeping team, receive training, and benefit from a range of development opportunities and extensive staff benefits. DBS disclosure is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning within a hospital or similar environment.
• Ability to maintain security standards and professional etiquette.
• Willingness to attend mandatory training and DBS disclosure.

Responsibilities

• Clean all areas of the service including wards, offices, bedrooms and visitors area.
• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and support the maintenance team.
• Demonstrate professional telephone etiquette and welcoming visitors.
• Build good working relationships with staff, visitors and service users.
• Attend mandatory training and be attentive to safety and policy requirements.

Working 15 hours a week you will be an integral part of the housekeeping team at a service for men and women with enduring mental health issues, complex needs and complicated addiction problems; where you will be responsible for cleaning all areas of the service, including wards, office spaces, bedrooms and visitors area. Working closely with the maintenance team you’ll ensure all areas of the service are spotless and be able to confidently deliver high standard cleaning services. You’ll receive all necessary training to get you started and join the dedicated team, where you can make a positive difference and be part of changing lives for the better. • Maintaining required security standards of the hospital by following relevant policies and procedures as defined by the Hospital.
• An active member of the team with a range of responsibility over the day-to-day operation.
• Maintaining excellent telephone etiquette and ability to meet and greeting visitors in a professional manner.
• Establishing and maintaining good working relationships with all staff, visitors and service users.
• Helping create a positive culture.
• Undertaking any other tasks requested that are appropriate for the post.
• Attending mandatory and statutory training on an annual basis as required by Elysium Healthcare. Have previous experience of cleaning within a similar environment
• Enjoy cleaning and get satisfaction from a job well done
