Jubilee House in Barnsley is recruiting a Part Time Housekeeper to join the housekeeping team. You will clean wards, office spaces, bedrooms and visitors areas, ensuring a safe and clean environment for residents and staff.

Working 18 hours per week, you will collaborate with the maintenance team to uphold high standards of cleanliness, receive training, and have opportunities for career development within Elysium Healthcare.

Qualifications

• Have previous experience of cleaning within a similar environment.
• Enjoy cleaning and get satisfaction from a job well done.
• Prioritise duties and responsibilities effectively.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining required security standards of the hospital by following relevant policies and procedures as defined by the Hospital.
• An active member of the team with a range of responsibility over the day-to-day operation.
• Maintaining excellent telephone etiquette and ability to meet and greeting visitors in a professional manner.
• Establishing and maintaining good working relationships with all staff, visitors and service users.
• Helping create a positive culture.
• Undertaking any other tasks requested that are appropriate for the post.
• Attending mandatory and statutory training on an annual basis as required by Elysium Healthcare.

Working 18 hours a weekyou will be an integral part of the housekeeping team at a service formen and women with enduring mental health issues, complex needs and complicated addiction problems;where you will be responsible for cleaning all areas of the service, including wards, office spaces, bedrooms and visitors area.

Working closely with the maintenance team you'll ensure all areas of the service are spotless and be able to confidently deliver high standard cleaning services.

Where you will be working:

Location:18 Jubilee Gardens, Royston, Barnsley, S71 4FL

You will be working at a specialist care home with nursing in Barnsley, South Yorkshire. Jubilee House is a registered care service which embraces and balances the management of risk with comfort, homeliness, dignity, respect and choice.

The mixed gender service is for people living with Learning Disabilities, Autism, sensory and communication impairments.

You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team to support individuals with complex needs and behaviours which may challenge services. The service is staffed 24 hours a day by a dedicated team made up of registered manager, nurses and support workers.

The service is intended for those individuals who require a high level of support to live within a community setting and will continue to require this longer term. Service users may be referred who are transitioning from hospital or children's services, or where their community placement is no longer able to meet their needs.

The service is only 4 miles from Barnsley town centre with direct bus access. Barnsley has good transport links across the region and is close to the M1.
