Portico is currently recruiting for a part-time Housekeeper to join our team at a corporate hotel in Marble Arch.

The successful candidate will join our close knit, small and friendly team who work to ensure that our guests have a memorable stay and leave with a smile on their face.

Duties of the Housekeeper include:

1. Cleaning and servicing all aspects in relation to the preparation of guest accommodation.
2. Ensuring that both back of house and public areas are always kept in a clean and tidy state.
3. Providing a friendly, efficient, and hygienic service to all customers.
4. General cleaning of all rooms including but not limited to; dusting, vacuuming, making beds, washing, and disposing of waste.
5. Monitoring cleaning and consumable supplies, raising any requirements as needed.
6. Reporting any necessary repairs or replacements.
7. Ensuring all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards.
8. Protecting equipment and making sure there are no inadequacies.
9. Dealing with reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience.
10. Adhering to rules regarding health and safety and remaining aware of any company-related practices.

Hours: 22.5 hours per week with rotating 7.5-hour shifts from Monday - Friday
Salary: £15,380

Minimum Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
• A keen eye for detail.
• An outgoing and friendly personality.
• Highly reliable and efficient.
• The ability to build good working relationships with colleagues, clients, and customers alike.
• Basic communication skills.
