Job summary

Bolton Hospice is seeking a part-time Housekeeper to join our housekeeping team. The role covers cleaning to pre-set standards across the hospice and some stock control duties. Hours are 20 per week, Monday to Friday 6am–10am, with occasional extra shifts for leave cover.

You will work in a supportive team delivering compassionate care and maintain high hygiene standards to support patients and staff. Experience as a housekeeper, strong interpersonal skills and an empathetic approach are

Qualifications

• Experience as a housekeeper in a healthcare or NHS setting preferred.
• Able to work in a team with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• High personal standards and empathy in care environments.

Responsibilities

• Clean to pre-set standards across the hospice.
• Assist with stock control duties and cover shifts when needed.
• Maintain high hygiene and cleanliness to support patients and staff.
