B&Q Chorley is hiring a Customer Advisor on a permanent part-time basis (25 hours per week). Shifts run Monday to Sunday from 6:00 am to 9:00 pm. The role emphasizes friendly, proactive customer service and product knowledge to help customers improve their homes.

Training in paint-mixing and timber cutting is available as part of your development. Join our team to deliver great service, assist with stock and displays, and help customers find the right tools and materials for their projects.

Qualifications

• Happy to help, eager to learn and just a little bit obsessed with home improvement.
• You’re friendly and outgoing, and you get a buzz from helping others.
• You’re flexible enough to work on a rota that includes weekends, evenings and bank holidays.

Responsabilités

• Sales will be important, of course, as will things like managing stock, setting up displays, and making sure your store looks great.
• You’ll have the opportunity to be trained in paint-mixing and cutting timber.
• You’ll be the person who gets to know every customer and their home improvement projects.
