Job summary

B&Q Limited in Altrincham is seeking a part-time Customer Advisor to support shop floor, checkouts or TradePoint. This permanent role offers 15 hours per week with shifts across Monday to Sunday, 7.00am–10.00pm.

You will help customers, manage stock and displays, and may gain training in paint-mixing and timber-cutting. We value friendly, team-oriented people who enjoy home improvement and can work on rosters including weekends and bank holidays.

Qualifications

• Friendly and outgoing; eager to learn and helpful to customers.
• Able to work in a rota including weekends, evenings and bank holidays.
• Interested in home improvement; willing to learn new technologies and processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert customer advice and drive sales.
• Assist with stock management, displays, and store presentation.
• Learn paint-mixing and timber-cutting where offered.
