Job summary

Wycombe Abbey is seeking an outstanding Teacher of History on a part-time maternity cover basis. You will teach History across the School, inspiring pupils of all abilities and preparing them for academic success, including applications to leading universities.

Experience of, or willingness to teach, A level Politics would be advantageous. Wycombe Abbey offers generous CPD and supportive development in a long‑standing girls’ boarding environment.

Qualifications

• A passionate and knowledgeable historian with excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Teach History across the School for pupils aged 11–18.
• Inspire intellectual curiosity and academic success, incl. university applications.
