Part-Time Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)

8:30am – 12:30pm | Monday to Friday

Temporary – One Term

Hinchley Wood Primary School is offering an exciting opportunity for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our team for a pilot project during the Autumn 2025 term.

As HLTA, you will lead bespoke play-based, practical, or catch-up sessions for small groups of SEND children, playing a key role in both academic progress and building confidence by providing nurturing environment.

We are looking for a confident and experienced individual with a flexible, positive approach, who is committed to delivering engaging learning experiences that support the whole child. SEND experience along with initiative, and a strong ability to connect with children are essential. Please refer to JD for the full person specification and role requirements.

The successful candidate will be well supported, working alongside a passionate and committed team. The working pattern for this role is 8:30am–12:30pm, Monday to Friday, term time only. Actual starting salary for 20 hours per week, term time only (38 weeks) is £12,745 p.a.
