The Recruitment Crowd (Yorkshire) Limited is recruiting for HGV Class 2 Drivers (CAT C) in Bury St Edmunds for part-time, ongoing shifts with potential permanent roles for strong performers. New Pass Drivers welcome and night/twilight shifts available.

Roles involve palletised parcel transport to couriers, accurate paperwork and professional service, with safety as a priority and opportunities to pick up extra shifts subject to availability.

Qualifications

Requires full UK driving licence with HGV Class 2 entitlement.
New Pass Drivers Welcome.
Requires valid DCPC (CPC) and Digital Tachograph Card.
No more than 6 points on licence – minor offences only.
Good understanding of Working Time Directive (WTD).
Willingness to complete a short driving assessment.
Excellent communication skills.
Strong safety-first attitude.

Responsibilities

Safely transporting palletised parcels between delivery units and courier locations.
Completing runs safely and efficiently.
Maintaining accurate paperwork and delivery records.
Assisting with loading/unloading when required using tail lift and pump truck.
Providing professional and courteous customer service.
Following all health, safety and operational procedures.
