You will join an inclusive and supportive team that works well together to provide care to people with a range of mental health conditions, using your knowledge and skills to help people along their recovery pathway towards leading a valued and fulfilled life.
Your daily tasks will include ward rounds, analyzing behaviors and adapting care accordingly with colleagues, updating patient records, and providing overall care and support, which may include assisting with personal hygiene.

The shift pattern is 12.5 hours per day.
You will be based at Thornford Park, a 130-bedded independent hospital supporting service users requiring medium and low secure Forensic Mental Health Services. The hospital also provides a PICU Mental Health Service.
The service offers a seamless internal care pathway supporting and empowering people in their recovery and rehabilitation. Working alongside the multidisciplinary team, you will provide personalized assessment and treatment programs for males with mental illness or complex care needs, as well as those with personality disorders, including females and males in a PICU setting.
