Compass Group UK&I, through Chartwells, is seeking a Head Chef to lead a school kitchen and create exceptional, high-quality food experiences. The role is part-time (30 hours per week) with opportunities to advance within a company that values its people and rewards excellence.

The successful candidate will manage a kitchen team, ensure hygiene, control costs, and deliver innovative food concepts that delight students and staff across education settings.

Formación

• City & Guilds 706/1 & 706/2 or NVQ equivalent is required.
• Experience in a Head Chef role and leading a kitchen team.
• Excellent communication and ability to work under pressure.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare high-quality food that delights clients and customers.
• Identify opportunities to improve the food service.
• Create a positive kitchen environment and support the team.
• Deliver food concepts to customers.
• Represent Compass Group UK&I and maintain brand image.
• Order food, manage stock and control waste.
• Oversee kitchen cleanliness to meet hygiene standards.
• Manage budgets and meet financial targets.
• Adhere to Food Handling, Hygiene and Health & Safety regulations.
