Part Time Hair Stylist

We are currently looking for a Part Time Blow Dry Hair Stylist to join our welcoming and close-knit H beauty family in our Gateshead store. Whether you are an experienced blow drying enthusiast or have recently discovered your passion for the beauty industry, specifically through blow drying and styling, we have a place for you at Harrods.

Exclusive to Harrods and H beauty, Drybar offers an elevated blow-dry experience for every occasion. H beauty is not a typical beauty hall; it features a champagne bar, blow dry bar, interactive playtables to try the latest products, a Harrods gift shop, and a big pink bear for Instagram pictures. We focus on creating a memorable experience for our customers.

About the Role

You will provide first-class, personal customer service, building excellent rapport with clients and fulfilling their styling requests with ease. It is essential to care for and cater to your clients' needs by developing new skills and techniques to deliver a magical yet timely service. Demonstrating exceptional product knowledge and striving to meet business goals while embodying the values of the H beauty brand are key responsibilities.

About You

You should have a passion for the beauty industry, pride in your work—from greeting customers to maintaining a clean and organized workspace—and be an excellent team player who believes in Harrods' values and contributes to the store’s goals.

You will also:

• Display a positive, proactive attitude, maintaining Drybar standards at all times.
• Possess both functional and technical skills for blowouts.
• Be eager to learn and grow, accepting guidance from managers.
• Have excellent communication skills to check in with clients throughout their appointment.
• Be able to take initiative, prioritize tasks, and ensure the smooth operation of Drybar.
