Job summary

Serco Limited in Birmingham is seeking a part-time Gymnastics Coach to deliver engaging gymnastics sessions for children aged 2 to 11 at Alexander Stadium. Working evenings and Saturdays, you’ll help children build confidence, develop skills and enjoy being active.

You’ll plan and lead safe, inclusive sessions, adapt to different ages and abilities, maintain records, and support the growth of the gymnastics programme.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and customer care skills.
• Organised, able to manage workload effectively.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver safe, engaging and inclusive gymnastics coaching sessions.
• Adapt coaching methods to suit different ages, abilities and learning styles.
• Support the growth and ongoing development of the gymnastics programme.
• Maintain accurate records and complete required administration in line with local procedures.
• Assist with the promotion of sports and recreational activities across the centres.
• Champion health, safety, equality and safeguarding standards at all times.
