Overview

25 hours per week

We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic, energetic individual to join our Gymnastics team at our Perth, Loch Leven Community Campus and Strathearn Community Campus venues.

£12.60 per hour

Job purpose

To support and where appropriate lead in the delivery and of Gymnastics activities and other coached activities within the Company

Duties and Responsibilities
Operational Duties
  • Deliver Gymnastics activities as part of the Perth and Kinross wide activity programme
  • Deliver activities as part of the holiday programme provided in Perth and Kinross
  • Assist with administrative duties in connection with the efficient operation of the Gymnastics programme
  • Contribute to development of gymnastics with Perth & Kinross including programme content
  • Advise and assist on recommended safety checks for equipment and venues used to deliver Gymnastics as required
  • Work closely with facility based staff to ensure the effective operation of the programme
Other Tasks
  • To assist and deliver children’s sporting activities as required
  • To assist with the development of programmed activities within the sports facilities
Health and Safety
Key Tasks
  • To comply with the requirements of the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 and all supplementary legislation
  • To ensure that any defect or damage to the building or items of equipment is reported to management of facilities
  • To ensure activity programmes are delivered in-line with operational polices and guidelines
Training
  • To attend regular staff training sessions, be they held in-house or externally
General
  • To carry out other reasonable duties as may be required
  • Maintain confidentiality and observe data protection guidelines
