Job summary

Sodexo Group in the United Kingdom is seeking a General Assistant to welcome guests and help deliver great service across our venues. You’ll assist with food and drinks, cash handling, stock, and keeping areas clean while supporting a friendly team in a dynamic environment.

The role is 28 hours per week with shifts Monday to Thursday 09:00–15:00 and Friday 09:00–13:00, at £13.71 per hour. Training and progression opportunities are offered, plus Sodexo Rewards and wellbeing benefits.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide friendly, professional customer service.
• Prepare, cook and serve fresh, delicious and safe food and drinks.
• Take payments and handle cash and other resources responsibly.
• Receive and safely store food and stock deliveries.
• Keep work areas clean, safe and tidy.
• Help guests find their way around and ensure they have everything they need.
• Use equipment and systems safely and report any issues to your Team Leader.
• Follow all hygiene, health and safety procedures.
• Support your colleagues and contribute to a positive team environment.
