Job summary

Sainsbury's Limited is seeking a Customer Delivery Driver in Lisburn. You will deliver groceries door-to-door using a 3.5-tonne refrigerated van, upholding delivery standards with energy, warmth and care. Role includes flexible scheduling and working 20 hours a week.

You must be over 18 with a full UK driving licence (12+ months) and up to 6 points. Training, safety checks and online assessments are part of the process, with potential shifts across evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be over 18 and hold a full UK driving licence for at least 12 months with no more than 6 points
• Excellent customer service and communication
• Able to work part-time with flexibility across shifts
• Ability to drive a 3.5 tonne refrigerated van safely and responsibly

Responsibilities

• Deliver groceries to customers' doorsteps in a timely and careful manner
• Conduct pre-drive checks, ensure van is roadworthy and goods are secure
• Follow planned routes, adapt to traffic, weather and road conditions
• Communicate with customers about delays or changes to orders
• Assist in store tasks when not out delivering
