Sainsbury's Supermarkets Ltd is hiring a Home Delivery Driver at Kempshott Store, Basingstoke, RG22 4TW. This part-time role (22 hours per week) pays £14.73 per hour and includes delivering groceries door-to-door in a 3.5 tonne van, with safety checks and a focus on customer service.

You must be 18+, hold a full UK licence for 12+ months with ≤6 points, and have Right to Work in the UK. Driving and interview assessments apply. Inclusive, supportive team with store duties when not delivering.

Qualifications

• You must be over 18 and hold a full UK/EU driving licence for at least 12 months with no more than 6 points on it.
• You will complete an online driving risk assessment as part of your interview and, if successful, there’ll be a driving assessment on joining.
• You must have Right to Work eligibility in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Driving a 3.5 tonne van to deliver groceries to customers' doorsteps, on-time and in good condition.
• Carrying out checks to ensure the van is organised, clean and roadworthy, with secure delivery cases.
• Serve customers brilliantly, assisting with questions and substitutions, and informing them of delays.
• Build knowledge about products, services and promotions to provide recommendations.
• When not delivering, assist across the store as needed.
