Job summary

Sainsbury's Supermarkets Ltd is recruiting for a Part-time Home Delivery Driver (20 hours per week) at the Stratton Store in Swindon. You will operate a 3.5 tonne van to deliver groceries to customers’ homes with on-time, secure service and a strong customer focus.

Applicants must be over 18, hold a full UK/EU driving licence for at least 12 months with no more than 6 points, and have Right to Work in the UK. A driving risk assessment will be completed during the interview process.

Qualifications

• Must be over 18 and hold a full UK/EU driving licence for at least 12 months with no more than 6 points
• Right to Work eligibility in the UK
• Online driving risk assessment as part of the interview, with a driving assessment on joining

Responsibilities

• Drive a 3.5 tonne van to deliver groceries to customers' doorsteps, on-time and in good condition
• Complete checks to keep the van organised, clean and roadworthy
• Serve customers, answer questions, handle substitutions and update on delays
• Build knowledge of products, services and promotions to offer recommendations
• When not delivering, assist across the store as needed
