Job summary

Mickleover Medical Centre in Derby is seeking a Salaried GP to join a friendly, well organised team with up to 4 sessions per week. Salary is competitive and related to experience; Monday and Tuesday are preferred to fit with room availability.

You will work alongside four partners and a supportive clinical team in a practice that values development, quality improvement and strong patient care. This post is based in Mickleover, Derby.

Qualifications

• Essential: Fully qualified GP, registered with the GMC.
• Desirable: Additional qualifications in women's health or sexual health; DFSRH, LoC IUT/SDI, or similar.
• Desirable: Trained in fitting coils and implants, minor ops, steroid injections.

Responsibilities

• Provide a full range of General Medical Services as per NHS Primary Care Act.
• Include domiciliary visits as appropriate.
• Support Partners in delivering services outlined in the GMS Core Contract.
• Contribute to clinical governance, audits and improvement plans.
• Utilise skills for service improvement such as minor ops and injections.
