Job summary

NPC Nelson, part of Northumbria Primary Care, is recruiting up to 8 sessions for a Salaried GP based in North Shields. Flexible working is offered with a Friday commitment in a supportive, community-focused practice.

The post involves delivering general medical services in a primary care setting, with a planned job plan and strong emphasis on continuity of care within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Full GMC Registration.
• Vocational Training Certificate or equivalent (JCPTGP/nMRCGP).
• Membership of a recognised defence union (MPS/MDU).
• Currently on a performers list and never been removed from a performers list for a detrimental reason.
• DRCOG.
• DFFP/FFFP.
• DCH.

Responsibilities

• Provide general medical services as Salaried GP in primary care.
• Agree a job plan to cover responsibilities and patient needs.
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care.
• Contribute to ongoing quality improvement and education within the practice.
