Job summary

Crown Medical Practice is seeking a salaried GP on a part-time basis for 4 to 6 sessions a week at a practice with a main surgery and a branch. The role centres on consultations by phone, video or face to face, with autonomous prescribing and referrals under the GMS contract.

Fridays are required; GMC registration and inclusion on the performers list are essential. The post offers opportunities for portfolio careers, research and teaching interests within a supportive clinical team.

Qualifications

• GMC registration is required.
• Inclusion on the performers list is required.
• Evidence of continued professional development (CPD) is expected.

Responsibilities

• Consult patients by telephone, video or face to face.
• Treat patients and prescribe appropriate medication.
• Refer patients or give advice as appropriate.
• Work as an autonomous practitioner providing medical services to the practice population.
• Deliver clinical care that complies with the GMS contract.
• Work Fridays, with other days flexible.
