Geography Teacher – Outstanding School – Croydon
An Outstanding Ofsted-rated secondary school in the London Borough of Croydon, with excellent resources and opportunities for fieldwork, is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Geography Teacher. This is a part-time, permanent position within a dynamic Humanities department, teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with potential for Key Stage 5).
Responsibilities:
The successful Geography Teacher will plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons that inspire curiosity about the world. You will cover a range of physical and human geography topics, develop students' geographical skills (including map reading, data analysis, and practical fieldwork techniques), and foster critical thinking about global issues. Assessing student progress, providing effective feedback, and contributing to the Geography curriculum are key duties for this Geography Teacher role.
Requirements:
Applicants must be a qualified Geography Teacher (QTS) with a degree in Geography or a closely related field. Proven experience teaching Geography at the secondary level is essential. A passion for geography, commitment to fieldwork, excellent communication skills, and strong classroom management are required. We are looking for an inspiring Geography Teacher.
