Looking for a friendly, flexible part-time role where no two days are the same (and where we always have nice biscuits)? We're on the lookout for a Part-Time General Sales Flooring Assistant to join our welcoming team. You’ll often be working alone in the shop, but you’ll stay connected with the wider team, coordinating diary appointments and solving customer queries.

What’s the job?

You'll be the first friendly face our customers see, helping them find the perfect flooring for their home. No prior flooring experience? No problem! We’ll give you all the training you need to feel confident in the role.

Your role will include:

  1. Chatting with customers and helping them choose the right flooring
  2. Handling orders, bookings, and diary management (basic computer skills needed)
  3. Keeping the showroom looking lovely and organized
  4. Answering calls, emails, and general customer enquiries
  5. Being part of a supportive team, but also comfortable working solo when needed

What we're looking for:

  1. A friendly, approachable personality – someone who loves chatting with people
  2. Good organisation and attention to detail
  3. Basic IT skills Excel, Word, and a CRM system – (but don’t worry, we’ll show you the ropes!)
  4. A team player who can also work independently
  5. Some flexibility to cover extra hours for holidays and occasional absences
