Qualifications

Job Description:

Become an Administrator with purpose, where your contribution is part of helping to change people's lives. It's an administration role that's rewarding like no other. Join the team at Kingswood House in Rotherham as an Administrator and be valued and supported .

You willsupport the service's administration needs, including new starter paperwork, organising training and managing leave requests. You will liaise with new staff members as you manage and verify their compliance documents, including DBS checks, identification, references and Right-To-Work.

As an administrator, being organised and keeping the general office function running smoothly will be second nature; files will be in the right place and kept confidential, post will be cascaded, phones will be answered in a friendly and helpful way, and spreadsheets will be up to date and logical.

Working alongside senior staff members, you will manage staff absences and leave requests, maintain personnel files, and produce audits.

This role is a part time role of 22.5 hours per week.

As an Administrator you will:

  • Manage staff payroll and checking weekly and monthly cost report
  • Liaise with head office/payroll, ensuring any relevant documents are sent.
  • Create and update HR paper file.
  • Ensure compliance with all HR policies & procedures and liaising with all disciplines, especially Operational HR and Head Office staff, regularly on the delivery of HR practices and processes.
  • Manage petty cash, purchase orders and invoice processing
  • Deal with access to records requests
  • Cover reception and other department colleagues as required

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Secretarial and/or HR Administration experience
  • ECDL, RSA II, Typing/Word Processing or equivalent
  • 4 GCSE’s at grade C or above (including English and Mathematics) or equivalent
  • Experience of minute taking and strong skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Knowledge of working with systems to support HR and Finance Departments.
  • Awareness and knowledge in following confidentiality and security

Kingswood House is a residential service with nursing for adults with a learning disability and/or Autism and a range of associated needs. It’s been designed to meet the needs of the local area for a specialist service to support people with ongoing complex needs and challenging behaviours who are stepping down from hospital or to avoid an inappropriate admission to hospital to enable them to return to their home area.

This small service is made up of six individual apartments which allow people to live in their own home setting and be provided with person centred care, whilst having access to a range of communal facilities to avoid isolation. It’s in the heart of the local community within walking distance of a full range of local facilities and resources.
