Teaching Personnel is seeking a GCSE Tutor to provide one-to-one tuition in the Carlisle (CA3) area during weekday school hours. You will tailor lessons to individual learning needs, build confidence, and help students progress toward GCSE goals.

The role emphasizes flexible, part-time hours with dedicated consultant support. A DBS check (or willingness to obtain one) is required, with pay rates quoted as competitive hourly rates.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching, tutoring, mentoring, or supporting young people.
• Strong knowledge of GCSE curriculum content, particularly in English, Maths, or Science.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to engage and motivate learners of varying abilities.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
