Job summary

Pringle of Scotland Head Office in Kingston upon Thames is seeking a part-time Garment Technologist to develop high-quality product across design and production. The role runs 15 hours a week (2 days) and collaborates with design, buying and suppliers to ensure fit, fabric performance and sizing to specification.

Responsibilities span design, production, QC and commercial awareness, with a proactive focus on delivering quality, timely development and strong supplier collaboration in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Detailed understanding of garment design and production.
• Experience with diverse garment types and manufacturing operations.
• Excellent organisation and communication skills.
• Confident leading fit sessions with influencing ability.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage priorities.

Responsibilities

• Design: create/update specification sheets and support critical path for new packs.
• Production: coordinate fit meetings and manage time/budgets along the critical path.
• QC: complete inspections ensuring high quality products before dispatch.
• Commercial awareness: react quickly and solve potential problems.
