An ‘Outstanding’ Primary School in the North London Borough of Camden is looking for a French Teacher to join their team on a part-time basis from September 2024.

The successful candidate will be teaching French to KS2 for 2.5 days per week. This role is initially on a long-term contract, with scope for a permanent contract for the right candidate.

The Head Teacher is looking for an enthusiastic and creative French Teacher who has the aim of raising attainment. The school has been rated ‘Outstanding’ for quality of teaching, so you must be graded ‘Good’ or ‘Outstanding’ in recent lesson observations. You must also hold UK QTS and be able to work well within a team of Teachers and Teaching Assistants.

Applicants MUST be a qualified teacher and hold UK QTS!

Person Specification – French Teacher

• Motivated and passionate French Teacher
• Hold QTS (or equivalent) and a relevant undergraduate degree
• Have a minimum of one year's teaching experience
• Have proven success in raising achievement
• Have a proven ability to identify and implement strategies to raise standards of Teaching and Learning
• Be committed to continually improving classroom practice and raising attainment
• Manage behaviour effectively to create a positive, calm and purposeful learning environment
