Job summary

HR GO Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a growing timber manufacturing business based in Dumbarton. We seek a Fork Lift Truck Operator for part-time hours with a chance to increase hours and become permanent as the business expands.

The role involves moving materials and finished products safely across the site, within a busy manufacturing environment. You must hold a Counterbalance licence and have FLT experience, with a focus on health and safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• Valid Counterbalance FLT licence.
• Previous FLT experience in manufacturing/warehouse.
• Strong Health & Safety awareness.
• Reliable, punctual, and team oriented.
• Willing to work outdoors when required.
• Flexible attitude.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Counterbalance Fork Lift Truck safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload timber products and materials.
• Move stock throughout the production facility and yard.
• Supply production areas with materials as required.
• Carry out routine FLT safety checks.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organized working environment.
• Work in line with Health & Safety procedures at all times.
• Support the wider team with general warehouse and yard duties when required.
