Job summary

Heckfield Place is seeking a part-time Florist Support (16 hours/week) to join our team. You will assist our in-house florist, preparing fresh and dried arrangements for bedrooms, restaurants, and public spaces, maintaining seasonal displays and ensuring sustainability.

Training will be provided, and weekend work is required to align with hotel operations. The ideal candidate has a passion for flowers, an eye for detail, and a willingness to learn seasonal chandelier arrangements and Christmas

Qualifications

• Passion for flowers and willingness to learn.
• Ability to create floral arrangements with guidance.

Responsibilities

• Understand flower arrangements following Heckfield design aesthetic.
• Prepare fresh and dried flower arrangements for Bedrooms, Restaurants, Public Areas, Rest Rooms, Bothy and Stalls.
• Support Florist to create In House florals reflecting Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter seasons.
• Work with florist and farm team to use farm flowers where possible and follow seasons.
• Taking delivery of flowers and storing to maximise shelf life.
• Be responsible for upkeep of flower preparation areas.
• Undertaking other floral related duties assigned by In-House Florist.
• Prepare bouquets for guests on request.
• Work weekends.
