Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience from a housekeeping or domestic cleaning role
• Basic understanding of infection control and COSHH
• Friendly and approachable with strong teamwork and communication

Responsibilities

• Maintain residents' care home facilities, public areas and individual properties to high cleaning standards
• Operate vacuum cleaners, floor polishers and carpet shampooers
• Empty bins regularly and sweep, scrub, wax and polish floors
• Clean carpets, upholstery, woodwork, windows and sills
• Launder residents clothing and communal laundry, including on-site residents
• Report safety hazards to management and follow Health and Safety and COSHH procedures
