Overview

Are you a strong finance professional looking for a part time role with a growing founder led business?

The Client

Our client is a growing specialist design and build business with offices in London.

The Role

This is a new and stand alone finance role working directly with the business founders and external accountancy practice. In this role you will take responsibility for the full finance function at an operational level, including;

  • Set up class use and organise supplier invoices and sales invoices into project reports.
  • Generate individual project P&L reports.
  • Generate company P&L reports.
  • Generate outstanding sales invoice reports and issue to project managers.
  • Create sales invoices.
  • Use Dext software to load supplier invoices.
  • Manage and log all incoming supplier invoices.
  • Assign invoices to individual projects and issue to project managers for approval.
  • Track and log all approved invoices.
  • Load approved invoices onto bank bulk payment spreadsheet.
  • Answer questions from accounts team and find and upload any missing invoices.
  • Manage employee expenses.
  • Upload PAYE salaries onto bank bulk payment software.
The Candidate

Our client is looking for a candidate with experience within a growing business, ideally in a position where they have needed to operate across the full finance function, with the ability to liaise with senior leadership, however also with the hands-on ability to ensure the smooth running of the day to day.

You will be experienced working with Quickbooks and ideally Dext, however proficiency with other comparable software will be considered.

Qualified, or qualified by experience will be considered.

The Terms

This new position is being offered on a part time basis, with a requirement of 3 days per week (ideally Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday) with a salary of circa £60K FTE available for the right candidate. You will be required to be office based 1-2 days per week.
