Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent.
• Experience in management and financial accounting.
• Experience supervising finance staff.
• Experience with VAT and year-end audits.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the college's finance function and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Preparing annual budgets and regular financial forecasts.
• Preparing and monitoring cash-flow forecasts.
• Preparing and reviewing monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Supervising, supporting and developing the Finance Officer.
• Reviewing the Finance Officer's work and providing guidance.
• Monitoring income and expenditure against budgets and investigating variances.
• Providing financial analysis and advice to the leadership team.
• Supporting strategic financial planning and sustainability.
