An established Private Equity firm in London is seeking a part-time Finance Manager to oversee daily financial operations and reporting. This role offers a competitive salary of £50,000-£70,000 FTE (pro rata) and requires 2-3 days a week in-office work. Qualifications

A rare Part Time opportunity for a Finance Manager to join an established Private Equity firm in Mayfair and manage their day to day financial operations and reporting. This role is being offered on a 12 month fixed term contract basis and is a 2-3 day per week role.

Reporting to the Managing Partner, the Part Time Finance Manager will be responsible for managing the day to day financial and transactional operations for the business:



Core Accounting & Bookkeeping

  • Record day-to-day financial transactions (e.g. invoices, receipts, payments)
  • Maintain general ledger and reconcile accounts regularly
  • Process accounts payable and receivable
  • Manage bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow
  • Prepare journal entries and ensure accurate coding of transactions


Reporting & Compliance

  • Assist with quarterly and annual financial reporting
  • Support audit preparation and liaise with external accountants
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements
  • Maintain documentation for tax filings and financial disclosures

Profile

  • A strong background in Transactional Accounting / Bookkeeping, ideally within the Financial Services industry.
  • Relevant professional accounting qualifications (e.g., ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) or be Qualified by Experience
  • Able to work on a Part Time basis - 2-3 days per week
  • A meticulous attention to detail and proactive approach to challenges.
