Job Title: Part-Time Finance Manager
Reporting to: Senior Management Team
Contract Type: Permanent, Part-Time (Up to 2 days per week, with potential to increase as the business grows)
Location: London, Mayfair (Hybrid flexible remote working with occasional office visits)

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly capable and flexible Part-Time Finance Manager to support our finance operations and act as a key liaison between our external accountant, senior management team, and debt funding line partner. This role is ideal for someone with experience in lending businesses who can ensure financial compliance, manage cash flow, and contribute to strategic financial oversight, and could particularly suit someone who has previously operated at a senior level within an organisation and is now seeking a part-time opportunity that offers a better balance with life or other commitments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Liaise between external accountant and Channing senior management team to ensure smooth financial operations.
  • Monitor and manage cash flow related to loan activity, ensuring accurate forecasting and reporting.
  • Take ownership of covenant compliance and concentration limit monitoring with our debt funding line partner.
  • Provide financial insight and support to senior leadership to guide decision-making.
  • Assist in preparing management accounts and financial reports as needed.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
  • Ensure financial controls and processes are maintained and improved.
  • Contribute to strategic discussions and commercial initiatives as required.
Requirements
  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with relevant post-qualification experience.
  • Experience in lending, structured finance, or development finance would be highly advantageous but is not essential.
  • Strong understanding of financial compliance, covenant monitoring, and cash flow management.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and flexibly, with a proactive and detail-oriented approach.
Working Arrangements

Up to 2 days per week, with full flexibility on working hours and location. Remote working is supported, with occasional in-person meetings in our Mayfair office. Scope to increase days and responsibilities as the company continues to grow.
