Job summary

ARML, a Family Office/Property Investment portfolio near Uxbridge and Gerrards Cross in South Bucks, seeks an experienced Part Time Finance Director. Reporting to the HNW Principal, the role will oversee finance for the family office and property portfolio with a focus on confidentiality and discretion.

The ideal candidate is a part-time qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, ACMA, CIMA) with 25+ years’ experience at FD, FC, or Partner level, preferably with property exposure.

Qualifications

• Part-time qualified Accountant with at least 25 years' experience.
• Qualified at ACA/ACCA/ACMA/CIMA with proven track record at FD/FC/Partner level.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational and administrative support to the family, acting as a gatekeeper.
• Manage financial reporting for multiple entities, overseeing one staff.
• Oversee preparation of annual accounts and liaise with external auditors.
• Evaluate cash flow requirements and tax implications of investment decisions.
• Prepare agendas and minutes of family office meetings.
• Oversee relationships with wealth managers and monitor investment returns.
• Oversee maintenance and refurbishment of properties across locations.
• Coordinate with Advisors, Legal and Insurance on behalf of principals.
• Ensure compliance with fiduciary duties and company secretarial regulations.
• Conduct ad-hoc research and projects as required.

Family Office / Property Investment portfolio near Uxbridge, Gerrards Cross, South Bucks, Buckinghamshire is seeking an experienced Part Time Finance Director.

Reporting to the HNW Principal, the Part Time Finance Director role will oversee finance for the Family Office and Property portfolio and will include:

• Providing operational and administrative support to the family, acting as a gatekeeper.
• Management of financial reporting for various entities, overseeing one staff.
• Oversee the preparation of annual accounts for all entities, liaising with external auditors.
• Evaluating the cash flow requirements and tax ramifications of any investment decisions
• Preparation of agendas and minutes/records of family office meetings.
• Oversee the relationship with wealth managers, monitoring investment returns.
• Oversee maintenance and refurbishment of properties across various locations.
• Liaise with Advisors, Legal and Insurance representatives on the principals' behalf.
• Ensure all legislative and company secretarial regulations and duties are dealt with.
• Comply with all fiduciary duties appertaining to directors.
• Carry out research and manage ad-hoc projects as and when required.

This role requires a part time qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, ACMA, CIMA) with at least 25 years' experience. You should have a proven track record at Finance Director, Financial Controller or Partner level in an environment that requires the strictest of confidentiality and a high degree of discretion. Experience in Property would be an advantage. You will have excellent communication skills, strong problem-solving ability, be self-motivated and have a strong sense of commitment and loyalty.
