Job summary

River Stewardship Company is seeking a Finance Assistant to support its Finance Department. The role involves processing invoices, ledgers, reconciliations, and payroll administration, working closely with the Senior Finance Officer.

It also covers credit control, expenses, and general admin to maintain accurate financial records. Applicants should have GCSE Maths/English, an interest in finance, and experience in a finance environment.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent) required.
• Interest in finance and accounting roles.
• Experience in a finance administration, accounts or similar role.

Responsibilities

• Process client and supplier invoices with approvals.
• Assist with sales and purchase ledgers and reconciliations.
• Support payroll administration and expense processing.
• Assist with credit control and chasing overdue payments.
• Maintain financial records, filing and document storage.
• Provide general admin support to Finance Department.
